Eric's lighting designs have been seen in New York's Off and Off-Off Broadway theatre, regional and stock theatres up and down the east coast, and internationally in such diverse places as Santiago, Chile; Prague, The Czech Republic; and Taipei, Taiwan. From 1996 through 1998, Eric was a staff lighting designer for ITEC Productions, a themed entertainment design company based in Orlando, FL. While on staff with ITEC, Eric created lighting environments for many diverse attractions. These attractions range in style from Macy's Santaland at Macy's flagship store in New York City to The Magic Church in Prague to the National Science Center in Augusta, GA. After leaving ITEC Productions in February of 1998, Eric went back to the freelance world of design, where he designed for clients such as Disney Business Productions and Disney Event Productions. In November of 1998, Eric decided to incorporate his talents, and formed the company known as Light Techniques, Inc. Since incorporating, Light Techniques has designed for a diverse client base of themed entertainment and corporate theatre. Among many others, clients have included Fugleberg Koch Architects / Group One Productions, The Producers/ ShowGear, and Overland Entertainment. |
